Transcript: Venture Fund is a Startup (TSP Insights)

Launching a a venture fund is not for the faint of heart, uh, and it is very much a startup activity. And so I certainly have a lot of empathy with startup founders and the journey that they go on to raise money, um, because of course we had to do the same. I've met some founders who obviously, you know, they're just, you know, raising money and investing. So they're not actually founders. But uh, when you look up closely, you're actually at least for a startup, you have a specific idea that, you know, we have this product that you can show, but then to pitch a venture fund is basically you're pitching your decision making. Uh, that hey, we have a better decision making skill and we have the network and we have the where with all to do that. And if you have a good track record as an angel investor, it might ease into it. But still a lot of people who are raising first fund, it's it's a very uphill battle at least from the ones I've seen.
